Tutorial: Felt External Hard Disk Sleeve.

hello! is been awhile that i post up tutorial. anyhow, this is my second tutorial and this time i'm gonna show you how to sew a sleeve. is not tough, but you need to have some patience. if you're a beginner then you might need to be more careful of the sewing part. you can use this tutorial to create other gadget sleeve like laptop or ipad. so pick up what you need below and let's get started!

my measurement.
width - 10.5cm
    height - 14.5cm (front) , 17.5cm (back)
don't forget to leave some space for your wire or USB port!

confusing? okay let's start manually tutorial for picture 9 to 11.
  1. place your felt together and let's start from the edge. take your knotted thread and go from the inside of the front layer through to outside (always bare in mind to hide the knot in between the felt).
  2. insert the needle to the left of where your thread is coming out from the front piece.
  3. pull the thread through most of the way and out your needle through the loop from the back to the front.
  4. continue second and third step and should be alright. oh, didn't i mention what stitching is this? it's blanket stitching.
still confusing? aww, hope this video helps. :)

and you're done! :) enjoy your new sleeve. xo
